Fertility In Mexico

Why Come to Tijuana for Fertility Treatments?

Tijuana is the capital of medical tourism in the world. Thanks to its exceptional location, millions of patients can enjoy quality medical services for a fraction of the price in their home countries.

The investment in medical tourism in Tijuana has been such that, nowadays, the city has a wide range of hospitals, hotels, and entertainment centers focused on international visitors, among which NewCity Medical Plaza – the complex in which we are located – stands out.

Approximately 1 in 8 couples are affected by infertility problems in the United States, which makes assisted reproductive services the only way to start a family, services that due to their high costs can be difficult to acquire. In The Fertility Center Mexico by IMI, we have a broad catalog of affordable, high-quality treatments at your disposal.

We choose Tijuana as our home, thanks to the reach it offers us to help national and international couples grow their families, always endorsed by the Mexican Institute of Infertility.

Baja California: The Perfect Destination for Wellness Experiences

Baja California is a state with a wide variety of attractions: valleys, beaches, forests, deserts, and cities where you can enjoy endless activities, from adventure tourism to great cultural and gastronomic events.

During your visit to The Fertility Center for your fertility treatment, you can take the opportunity to tour around our state: What are the best things to do in Baja California?

Tijuana

Tijuana is a vibrant and lively city, considered the most visited border in the world. Its gastronomic and artistic scene, important business activity, proximity to the United States, hotel offer, and outstanding presence in health and wellness tourism have made it one of the favorite cities of national and international travelers to visit.

One of the main attractions of Tijuana is its gastronomy, where you can find everything from the best tacos in the country to food parks and chefs’ restaurants (the world-famous “Caesar Salad” was created here!). Tijuana is also the cradle of important artistic and cultural activities in the Centro Cultural Tijuana (CECUT for its acronym in Spanish) one of the most emblematic buildings of the city along with the famous Arch / Monumental Clock of the Avenida Revolucion, in El Centro.

Ensenada

Among the most popular destinations in this municipality is the Wine Route in Valle de Guadalupe, where 90% of the wine of the country is produced; here you can find countless wineries, delicious restaurants, and beautiful landscapes surrounded by vineyards.

In the heart of the city, there are attractions such as the Hussong’s Cantina (the place where the famous “margarita” was invented), the Riviera Cultural Center (which functioned as a casino in the 30s, hosting celebrities such as Rita Hayworth) and the Plaza Civica that extends to the boardwalk, being the second most important cruise port in the country, where it is common to see impressive cruises of international lines such as Carnival.

Rosarito

With majestic views of the Pacific Ocean, Rosarito is the perfect destination for water activities such as surfing and diving. Thanks to its climate and location, this beach destination has been ideal for the filmmaking of some of the most memorable films in the history of cinema such as “Titanic” and “Planet of the Apes”, as well as internationally known series such as “Fear The Walking Dead”. Here you can also visit the legendary Rosarito Beach Hotel, which throughout its history has hosted celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe and Orson Wells.

Rosarito is also home to the exquisite Puerto Nuevo style lobster, which is part of the emblematic gastronomy of this region. In the Popotla area, you will find the Artisans Boulevard, where you can admire the work of various sculptors, painters, welders, photographers, blacksmiths, and plastic artists.

Mexicali

In the northwest of the state, there’s Mexicali, the capital of Baja California; in addition to being an important craft beer-producing region, is home to unique cultural venues and impressive natural landscapes such as the Valley of the Giants – a region full of majestic towering cactus that can reach heights over 60 feet tall – and the Guadalupe Canyon, an oasis in the middle of the desert where there are hot springs and cave paintings.

In Mexicali, there is also San Felipe, a popular beach destination that mainly attracts American tourists looking for the peacefulness of the Sea of Cortez, where they can relax or do water activities such as paddleboarding and kayaking.

Tecate

The words peace and tranquility perfectly define Tecate, the only Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) on the northern border of the country. This is where the world-famous beer that bears his name originated, which has been made since 1944, and whose plant currently offers guided tours and tastings. In this municipality, you will find gastronomic delights such as its famous pan dulce (sweet bread) and renowned chefs’ restaurants such as Lugar de Nos, considered one of the best in the State.

When it comes to natural attractions, Tecate will surprise you with sites such as Vallecitos – an archaeological zone of cave paintings that are found among majestic stones -, La Rumorosa – a natural area along the highway between Tecate and Mexicali that is characterized by its impressive rocky landscapes – and Rancho La Puerta, declared as “The Best Spa in the World” (2020) by the specialized magazine Travel + Leisure.
